The quick, easy, hygienic method to take a temperature! For an inexpensive and easy body temperature reading, try the Nextemp™ disposable single-use clinical thermometer. This single strip thermometer can be used orally and axillary for accurate body temperature readings.

Directions:
Oral Use

• Fold along a perforation and tear off a single thermometer. Peel back top of wrapper to expose handle and remove by pulling.
• Place in mouth under the tongue, as far back as possible into either heat pocket, as you would any oral thermometer. Have patient press tongue down on the thermometer while keeping mouth closed.
• Leave for a minimum of 1 minute – shorter times may give you inaccurate readings.
• Read immediately.
• Discard.

Under Arm

• Place under arm with green dots deep in axilla. Use arm to hold the thermometer in place for AT LEAST 3 MINUTES – shorter times may give inaccurate readings.
• Read immediately.
• Discard.

How to Read

• Remove the thermometer.
• Read temperature immediately.
• The highest black dot indicates the correct temperature (see example).
• Record patient’s temperature and dispose of thermometer in accordance with local regulations.

NOTE: To avoid improper readings be sure to:

• Place in mouth correctly and keep mouth closed for a minimum of 1 minute (longer periods will not affect accuracy.)
• Wait at least 15 minutes before taking temperature when patient has been exposed to cold weather, or has been engaged in eating, drinking, or smoking.

0.2°F within the range of 98.0°F to 102°F +/- 0.4°F elsewhere.

Store in a cool place (30°C/86°F and below)
